What are Nutraceuticals?

Nutraceuticals are also known as “functional foods,” which are foods that have health benefits beyond providing the body with basic nutrition.

Functional foods are packed with biological compounds such as antioxidants and polyphenols, which may help reduce inflammation and help fight disease. Studies have found that functional foods can deliver many healthy benefits if consumed regularly in certain amounts.
