Tomato Sauce Meat Bites

Who doesn’t love homemade meat balls cooked in a fresh tomato sauce? Some benefits of making your own meals at home would be using less salt, fat, and preservatives. I used my 360cookware pan which cut the cooking time in a half and reduced the amount of water and oil needed to make this delicious sauce!

Ingredients

For the beef bites:

1/2 lb lean ground beef

2 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh chopped coriander leaves for garnish

for the sauce:

4 organic tomatoes on the vine

2 garlic cloves minced

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 tsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp coconut sugar

1 cup water

Steps

  1. Mix meat bites Ingredients and form Into 2 inch balls

  2. Turn oven to 360 degrees F

  3. bake meat bites on an oven safe pan for 15 minutes

  4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion till translucent

  5. add tomatoes, minced garlic, & spices, sauté until softened

  6. add water, let it simmer covered on medium low heat for about 15 minutes or until sauce thickens

  7. add meat balls and let it cook on low for another 5 minutes

  8. sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves
