This roasted red pepper and walnut dip is a famous appitizer in some Middle Eastern countries. It is A good source of omega-6 and Vitamin A. As well as an excellent source of Iron, Calcuim, and fiber.

Recipe yields 6 servings
Ingredients

1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs

1/3 cup chopped yellow onion

1/3 cup water

1 1/4 cup of walnuts

1 tablespoons coconut sugar or regular sugar 

2 tablespoons roasted red pepper paste

2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil 

1/4 a teaspoon cumin powder

Salt to taste

Steps

  1. Soak breadcrumbs in water for 10 minutes

  2. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
