Chia Peanut Strawberry Pudding
Chia seeds come from a plant grown in Mexico named Salvia Hispánica. These seeds are edible and completely absorbed by the body. The word Chia means “strength”, which only makes sense due to the powerful nutrient components of these tiny seeds. about 1.5 tablespoons of it Is loaded with calcium, Vitamin C, fiber, and Omega-3 fats (good fats).
Here is a simple and easy recipe of many ways you can incorporate chia seeds in your diet.
ingredients:
For the pudding:
8 oz. unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon organic maple syrup
For the purée:
1/2 cup strawberries chopped
1/2 cup strawberries
1 teaspoon Organic maple syrup
Steps:
Mix pudding ingredients in a bowl
put 1/2 cup strawberries + 1 teaspoon maple syrup in a blender and blend till smooth
transfer to a sauce pan and simmer on medium low till it thickens
layer fresh strawberries, purée and then the pudding mix
keep in the fridge for about 15 minutes
enjoy It cold
