Chicken Pesto

This whole grain pesto chicken pasta is an easy, fast and a nutritious dinner! It’s high in protein, healthy fats, and fiber! The best part is that it’s less than 500 calories!

ingredients:

2 cups cooked whole grain pasta

6 oz. grilled chicken

for the pesto

2 cups spinach

1/4 cup Unsalted walnuts

1 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 lemon juice

salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. Combine all pesto Ingreidents in a blender and blend until smooth

  2. grill chicken or bake in the oven using desired spices, cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F

  3. Cook pasta according to the box

  4. Drizzle sauce over pasta and serve warm
