Hummus Protein Bowl

Looking for a low carb, high protein easy prep meal? This recipe is the way to go! It Will sure fill you up and keep your carb count on check.

ingredients:

3 oz. chicken

1 oz. halloumi cheese

2 cups broccoli

2 tbsp hummus

1 tsp olive oil

1/2 lime juice

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Salt to taste

steps:

  1. preheat oven to 350°F

  2. wash and trim broccoli florets

  3. place broccoli on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil

  4. place chicken breast on the other side of baking pan, season with your favorite spices. I like to use paprika, pepper, basil, and salt

  5. bake for 20 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F

  6. once done drizzle lime juice on top

  7. Serve with (home made or ready hummus)
