Fava Bean Bowl 

High fiber and protein middle eastern breakfast. 

Ingredients

1 can fava beans 

1 tomato

1 lime 

1 tbsp olive oil 

1/4 cup feta cheese 

Steps

  1. wash and drain beans

  2. place in a sauce pan with 1/4 cup of cold water

  3. heat on low till it simmers and water mostly evaporates

  4. transfer to a bowl and add chopped tomatoes, feta cheese, lemon and olive oil

  5. add salt and pepper to taste
