Grilled Cheese & Chicken Bowl

There is nothing better but a warm bowl of fresh nutrients on fall days. This recipe has some of the most fulfilling and nutritious ingredients. It’s also low in carbs, high in proteins and fiber!

Ingredients:

1.5 cups Brussels sprouts

1 cup carrots

4 oz. chicken breast

2 oz. halloumi cheese

1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tsp

1/2 a lime juice

salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. Season chicken with your favorite spices

  2. drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil over the carrots and Brussels sprouts and sprinkle with salt

  3. place chicken and veggies in an oven safe dish and bake on 350 F for about 25 minutes or until the internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°

  4. in a heated skillet drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil and grill cheese until nicely browned on both sides

  5. combine in a dish and serve warm, squeeze have a lime juice to add taste
