Shawarma Tower

Looking for a wow factor to your next party? Try this easy, tasty, low in carbohydrates, low in fat, and high in proteins shawarma recipe!

Ingredients

1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into thin fillets

1 pound skinless boneless chicken thighs cut into thin fillets

1 large orange

Marinade: 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp orange or lemon juice, 2 tsp paprika, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp coriander, 1 tsp turmeric , 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp white pepper, 1 tsp sumac powder

Steps

  1. marinate chicken fillets for at least an hour

  2. using a metal or a Wooden grill stick layer chicken fillets alternating with breast and thigh, then finish with an orange

  3. lay on a baking sheet pan and bake on 360 degrees F for about 40 minutes or until internal temp of chicken reaches 165

  4. when done transfer to a cutting board and chop into thin slices

  5. enjoy with bread or salad
