Turkey Veggie Chili

This 15 minute Turkey Chili recipe is one of my favorite! It’s high in protein and low in both fat and carbs. It’s high fiber content will sure keep you fuller for longer!

Ingredients

1/2 lbs of ground turkey 

1 cup tomato

1 cup green pepper

1 cup diced carrots

12 oz of water

1 can red kidney beans( washed and drained) 

Salt and pepper to taste 

1/2 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp paprika

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

 Steps

  1. add olive oil to sauce pan, once heated sauté onions until translucent

  2. Add ground turkey, sauté for 2 minutes 

  3. add garlic and ginger sauté for one minute then add the spices

  4. Add tomatoes, green pepper, carrots & beans. sauté then add 12 oz cup of water

  5. Cover and cook on low until it thickens

  6. Garnish with 2 teaspoons of Mexican cheddar cheese and chives

Recipe yields 4 servings (1 cup each) 

One serving yields: 

10 g NET carbs 

17 g proteins 

7 g fat 

Total calories: 186 calories (with cheese) per serving
